Ask Erik: Olivia’s Question

I’d like to apologize for the delay in posting the Ask Erik questions from my June 17th channeling session with Kim O’Neill. I’ve been working every day to help out at a brand new clinic which, along with taking care of my grandbaby, my own kids and the household, leaves me squeezed for time. But now that the permanent docs have started, I’m ready to put my nose to the grindstone and crank these suckers out. Thanks for being so patient. The first question comes from Olivia. Let’s see if Erik can help her with an age-old problem.

Olivia’s Question

Hi,

My name is Olivia and first off, I wanted to say thank you so much for your site. My friend showed this to me today and she showed me what she’d written and the answers. I was really surprised. I’m sure you’ve heard this before but I was a bit skeptical until I felt how sincere you are. To my questions: I’m 25 living in Hayward, California. I feel directionless and very unsure of what I want to do with my life. I have hobbies but no really heartfelt dreams or goals to follow. I’m also wondering about my love life. I feel it’s going nowhere too. In a nutshell, I’m stuck and floundering. Do you think Erik could throw me a rope?

Thank you,

Olivia

Me: The first question today is from Olivia. She’s 25 and lives in Hayward, California. She’s basically looking for guidance as to what to do in her life. She says she doesn’t really have any heartfelt dreams or goals. She also feels like her love life is directionless. Any advice Erik?

Erik’s Response

Erik: I had no fucking idea at first so I had to ask her guides. Sometimes I have to do that.

Kim: It’s so wonderful talking to Erik on so many levels. You never have to wonder what he’s thinking or feeling, I mean, he’s very straightforward. I love that.

Me: Yep he’s pretty direct and honest. So what did you find out for Olivia, Erik?

Erik: They say she’ll be married at 27 or 28, like between those two birthdays. She hasn’t met the person yet, though. She’s gonna have kids and she’ll move from Hayward. She’ll be staying in California though.

Me: So what should she do with her life?

Erik: She should write. She’s already been picking up on that, because her guides have been talking to her. They say her destiny is to write novels, like romance novels but not the cheesy ones. She’ll write more modern day romances that are funny. Kind of in the same style as “He’s Just Not That Into You;” she’ll get the idea. She’s funny. She’s got a real funny sense of humor. Oh, and her guides recommend she get started right away, cuz some of them will be made into movies.

Me: Oh, good! I guess I get her autograph then!

Erik: And if she says, “Well I don’t know where to begin;” yes she does! She needs to sit in front of the computer and just start typing away. As she does this, the story will begin to flow. She doesn’t have to wait until she has a story idea first. It’s not gonna unfold until she sits there and starts typing.

Me: Yeah, that’s how my writing works too. It’s like the information is being channeled to me.

Erik: Of course it is, Mom. Most writers get stuff channeled to them from their guides.

Me: Maybe we should start including them in our acknowledgments.

Erik: They don’t give a rat’s ass about credit. I know you’re kidding.

Yep, Erik knows me better than I know myself, sometimes. As he’s said before, once he shed his body, he was able to see everyone for exactly who and what they are. Wish we didn’t have to wait until death to reach that level of understanding. Think of the drama we’d be spared!
