Channeling Paul Walker, Part One

Lukas is driving back from San Antonio where he spent a few days with his friends going to Six Flags Over Texas at Fiesta Texas. Annika is driving back from Destin, FL where she spent time at the beach with her friends. All well-deserved after a tough semester for both of them. Meanwhile, Rune is racing his motorcycle. Today, it’s practice at the track in College Station. Then, he packs up and goes to COTA (Circuit of the Americas) in Austin for a track day, and then Sunday is the actual race day at College Station so he has to pack up and go all the way back there. That’s a lot of work and travel. Frankly, I don’t think it’s worth it, but he sure does. He’s one of the fastest guys on the track, even if he’s one of the oldest. He smokes by the 20 year-olds. I told him to get a sponsorship from Geritol or Viagra so we can earn a few extra bucks. Might help pay for some of the broken bones he better freaking not get in a spill. Fortunately, he’s so well protected with leather and all sorts of plates that when he falls (which has happened on extremely rare occasion,) he just slides across the track like a hockey puck, gets up, brushes himself off, and mutters a few choice swear words. Yeah, that’s where Erik got it! Anyway, y’all root for him, okay?

Here’s the transcript for the Paul Walker Interview. I think there will be 3 parts.

Me: Hi Robert! How are you?

Robert: I’m well. How are you?

Me: I’m doing fine! Everybody, this is the very gifted medium, Robert Burke. He’s going to translate Erik for us. Hi, Erik!

Erik: Hi, Mom.

Me: How are you doing?

(Pause)
Robert: I’m sorry. He’s distracting me. He always does this when I talk to Michelle, in particular. He’ll pick his nose.

Robert laughs.

Me: Erik!

Erik: It’s all good.

Me: Okay. Is there any way you can bring in Paul Walker for us? People have requested that interview over and over again!

Robert: Yeah, he’s here. He’s actually been hanging around for a couple of days.

Me: Oh really?

Robert: Yeah, but before Paul speaks, there’s someone else who’s here. It’s a horse!

Robert laughs.

Me: A horse?

Robert: A horse!

Me: Really?

Robert: Yeah, it’s a Palomino. I don’t know if it’s connected to you or someone who’s going to watch this video, but it’s cream-colored with lighter cream-colored spots.

Me: Oh, wow.

Robert: So whoever this belongs to, it’s wanting to let you know that it’s all great.

Me: It’s not mine. I’m scared of horses.

Robert: Yeah, I didn’t think you had a horse like that. I know you had them in the past, but…

Me: Okay. So, Paul, thank you for coming to the interview. I appreciate it.

Paul: Thank you, ma’am, for inviting me.

Me: You have a lot of fans in Channeling Erik. I think they think you’re just a big hunk of man candy. That’s what it is, right?

Paul looks down, laughs and blushes.

Me: Aw, that’s cute. A spirit that blushes!

Robert: I know! He’s very polite and really, really sweet. He’s tall, like 6’2”.

Me: Wow!

Robert: Or 6’3”. Somewhere in there. He’s, I guess you could say, “soft spoken” but maybe a better word is “humble.”

Me: Okay. What’s he wearing?

Robert: A white shirt and some dark pants. Some cool shoes. Do you like shoes?

Paul: Yeah, man.

Me: What kind of shoes are they?

Robert: It starts with a d. I can’t make out the word. Dolce something.

Me: Okay. I don’t know fashion.

Robert: I don’t know shoes. Yeah, that’s the one thing I’ve learned. If you don’t have a point of reference in your brain, all I can do is describe it. The words don’t always come easily.

Me: Well, I’m going to start out by asking some questions submitted by a blog member. First, was your death meant to happen?

(Pause)

Robert: He’s talking and I’m trying to listen to what he says.

Paul: Well, yeah, it was meant to happen. If it weren’t, it wouldn’t have.

Me: Why?

Paul: It was my time to check out.

Me: And why is that?

Paul: Everything that I came here to do in life, I had done, and when your number is up, it’s up.

Me: Okay, did you complete your spiritual mission? Is that what happened?

Paul: At the time, I didn’t want to go, of course. The reason it happened the way it did, so quickly, is because it gave me no choice. I had to go. There was no stopping it. Prior to my death, I had said my goodbyes to everyone in my own way. I didn’t know I did. I didn’t want to leave my family, especially my daughter, and if I had had a lingering death, they would have had to watch that. Not for me.

Me: I didn’t even know you had a daughter.

Robert: I don’t know.

Me: I don’t really know much about you, sorry. I’ve watched a lot of your stuff, but…

Paul: My movies aren’t your cup of tea?

Me: Well, uh…

I stammer.

Paul: I’m just messing with you.

Me: I know! Let’s go on.

Paul: I put you on the spot.

Me: I know! So what was your spiritual mission?

Paul laughs, tugs at his chin with his head lowered.

Paul: For my fans, my mission was to take them out of their lives and let them experience something other than what they experience already—to remind them of their connection to the fantasy side of things, the imagination, all that kind of stuff. In my personal life, my mission was simply learning about the importance of family, having strong connections and bringing my daughter into the world.

Robert: He’s talked about this other person. There’s a boy, too. I don’t know if this boy—I don’t think he’s alive. I don’t know if he died in childbirth or was a stillborn or miscarriage or something, but there’s a male child around him, too.

Me: Who is that, Paul?

Paul: The one that wasn’t meant to be.

Me: Aw. Well, you’re together.

Paul: Yeah.

Me: Looking at your spiritual missions, I guess you accomplished them all? Otherwise, you wouldn’t have exited.

Paul: I’m very satisfied.

Me: Were you here to teach anything?

Paul: My contract was the same as the lessons and what I taught.

Me: Oh, yeah.

Paul: So everything I mentioned earlier was what I taught.

Me: Okay. Do you have any regrets?

Paul: When it comes to regrets, I’m not sure you can call this one, but something I wish I could have done but I know I wasn’t meant to is to see my daughter grow up, to be there, to walk her down the aisle, all that stuff.

Me: Sure.

Paul: And if I regret anything, even though I don’t have any control in the matter, is that she’s growing up without me.

Robert: He’s got a really strong connection with this girl.

Me: Aw, that’s so sweet.

Paul: I think you can relate to that.

Yes I can.

Me: Do you have a message for her in case she grows up and happens upon this YouTube video?

Paul: Know that Daddy loves you, princess.

Me: Aw, that’s sweet.

Would you look at those eyes?

Would you look at those eyes?

Move over Antonio Banderas, Gregory Peck and Cesar Millan. I have another guy on my crush list. Y’all can all be our cabana boys when Iola and I get there, right Iola? (Inside joke between a long time blog member and me.)

Enjoy our latest YouTube about the spiritual aspects of Money!

Have a wonderful weekend! I love you all!
