Fear of Failure

Confession time. I have a lot of little quirks in my behavior, so let me share one. I prefer baths to showers and when I get out of the bathtub, I rush to dry off, get dressed and do whatever else I need to do. The goal: to be out of the bathroom before the tub fully drains. Of course, I cheat. If it looks like I’m not going to finish in time, I close the drain for a while. So weird. And so random.

Here’s a couple of pictures of the Beltway near my house that I took yesterday. The depth of the water is around 30-40 feet, and it’s going to be there for a while! The devastation is horrible here, and there’s the constant drone of Blackhawk and Chinook helicopters in the air. Very sad.

Enjoy today’s Rolling with Erik. The topic: Fear of Failure.

Really great words again and so very true but please, please, please lose the background music! It’s every aspect of wrong!

    • Lorri Lewis

Yes. Love you to pieces Emanuelle, but music makes words harder to hear.

  • RickD

Beautiful words, beautifully told/channeled. Five stars! We live in a safe and LOVING universe. Can never hear that too many times.

there is nothing safe or loving about it….your not even aware of anything happening around you!

Wow, thank you Erik and Emanuelle! Fear of Failure and being the creator of your own reality is a very hard truth to grasp; having you explain it as you have in this video, and having you go over this subject many times in different ways, really help me (us) understand it better and better. I love the examples of successful people’s experience of failures too. VERY helpful; thank you!

Elisa, thank you for the photos; it really is an eye opener of how bad Harvey was/is….

but there should be no failure to begin with! why isnt that being explained?

  • Robin Kincaid

Just what I needed to hear. Thank you Erik and Emanuelle! Love the music, too!

So so terribly sorry for what Houston and all the other cities and towns affected by Harvey, and now Irma, next Jose, are going through! Absolutely devastating and heartbreaking. And it will keep happening until we humans stop exacerbating climate change. Can we get serious about this now? Each and every one of us needs to start living in more awareness of the carbon footprint we are creating and take responsibility for what is happening on this planet. Until we do, the devastation Elisa and millions of others are dealing with in their home towns from this new breed of humongous hurricanes WILL continue!

    • I’m definitely going to ask Erik about all this during the next session!

I first have to say that I discovered channeling Erik about a year ago and I now feel somehow part of your wonderful family. I have much admiration and respect for you, Elisa. You and Erik have helped me in my never ending quest for knowledge. I enjoy it all. I have a question, do you still do the ask Erik section of your blog?
Thank you for all you do.

    • Yes, there are several ways to ask Erik questions. You can call in during the Monday night radio shows and I give instructions Sunday and Monday; you can submit a question when I call out for them for the magazine column around the 13th-15th of every month, or you can contact Emma or Veronica who hold monthly Q&A’s with Erik. Their sites are on the links page under the favorites tab at the top of the homepage. Of course you can also book a session with one of the many wonderful mediums.
