George Lippard

As Ashley suggested (I think it was her; maybe Elisa?) today’s entry welcomes George Lippard, the subject of psychic development exercise #2.  I initially got the idea Mr. Lippard was already reincarnated but the advance notice allowed him to become available; I asked Erik for help with this, so thanks Erik, I owe you some milk duds AND malted milk balls. Gimme a second while I unfasten my diaper….

ST = substitute teacher, GL = George Lippard and Erik

ST:     Mr. Lippard, you know why we’ve asked you to come?

GL:      Certainly.

ST:       Have you read this blog over?

GL:      Indeed I have, the entirety.

ST:       Jumping aside for a moment; how is that accomplished?

GL:      This is done the same way you do it with your computers; the retrieval of information on Earth mimics the process used everywhere.

ST:       You don’t manifest an iPad or a Dell laptop?

Erik:  The Samsung people are gonna come kick some as ass, the more their thing isn’t mentioned!

ST:       You mean their competing product?

Erik:     Yeah, the iPad is the new Kleenex.

GL:      No, it’s not necessary to use a device but the concept is the same.

ST:       Do the words appear like we see a page?

GL:      This is possible and is sometimes done, but the process of reading each word, or as it is more commonly done, clumps of words, happens in bigger bites.

ST:       You mean they way we read phrases, or even write ‘em, and leave out words but don’t notice, ‘cause our brain fills in?

GL:      Yes, this is exactly what happens with what you have called telepathic communication; clumps of ideas, assembled like blocks, are sent in clusters.

ST:       So to decide to read this website involves, just thinking about it?

GL:      Precisely, and the image as you all see on your screens [stop that Erik! {he just made me type “screems”}] (excuse me George, a little squabble there….) no, it’s quite all right, your website reflects life as I knew it and you all do now, there is no need to apologize for human nature, au contraire, do express it.

As I started, we see the image of the typed words as they were presented; this is not different. What is altered is the ability to review and comprehend the complete message, the summary of thought, the total idea, of what’s written at a glance. As you might look upon a car and know without opening doors, boot or bonnet, that it will contain certain things, seats, drive train parts and other things. The essence of a story is understood before the pages are read, and then the detail is revealed as these are digested.

ST:      You lived most of your life in Philadelphia, USA according to our history. This is the city of brotherly love, but your view is that social misjustice was everywhere.

GL:      Yes, this is true, there was much mistreatment not needed.

ST:       Did all involved in the bad treatment of the poorer population choose it?

GL:      Choice of situation, yes. Choice of action? This is left until the moment; like your elections. Much knowledge of the moment is had beforehand yet still, the decision to vote and for whom remains open until chosen. So it was with the less advantaged and the more influential over them; all participants chose to act or abstain at the opportunity.

ST:       Isn’t it said that all of life – at least awake – is a choice? I mean, what we do as humans alive on Earth?

GL:      Yes, certainly.

ST:      So what would happen if we just chose to depart, live in the woods and stop interacting with humanity? Consuming so little of the berries, bushes and bugs to be had, that our presence in a great wooded frontier had no effect upon it?

GL:      You must see that on Earth, you do not live just by what you have each day; you must fall into sleep and then you confer with your family. Remember always, family on Earth involves the human social structure you create; within your structure it teaches, insists upon and enforces togetherness; child custody is an example. In Heaven, all is voluntary so your family is with you and you with them through desire and love of one another. This bond overwhelms the strongest most solid of permanence you can know on Earth. So…as you sleep, you sit together with your family. If your sojourn into the woods betrays your life purpose, the effect you will see. Likely it is you will return and engage, as it were. Little will the deer and bears from you appreciate and little will you know of them after learning their life patterns and surviving the risk to yourself your presence creates.

ST:       I read what the basic biography told about you but of course, haven’t read your works. Please tell us, from where did your desire to become a champion of the working poor arise?

GL:     I would not say working poor and include working, yet I understand your use of the term. I was as interested in obtaining work for many poor, in that condition because they could not earn wages or otherwise.

ST:       Did much study of economics enter your thoughts as you lived as George Lippard?

GL:      Formal study, no. Consideration, yes.

ST:     A lot of discussion and energy is invested in this subject; your own Brotherhood of the Union survived for well over a century after your death, fueled by this energy, no?

GL:       Indeed, it did.

ST:       Tell us what you understood then, what you can now see of what has developed on Earth since the mid 19th century and also from the point-of-view of Heaven?

GL:      I will respond in reverse order and from a point-of-view of current American thinking however this closely relates to other nations.

There is today a division that need not be; one camp purports to support the majority, the less wealthy and certainly the lower income people of the electorate. Another camp views the larger picture and the forces and influences that shape the greater effort. The various pieces and parts of these are lined up and juxtaposed to highlight the differences; for political advantage. The challenge before you is look beyond that which is logical in the position from which you see it. There is much correct interpretation of the pieces displayed; they are not the complete picture. You do not see a complete list of parts, the assembled contraption and most importantly, its functioning and effects.

ST:       There is merit to both views?

GL:     Yes; and there are drawbacks also. Success is gained in the arena of political clout by claiming the merits but placing the drawbacks upon the opposition. Both sides embrace this strategy; the one attaching drawbacks better is usually the winner. Asserting ownership of a merit does not produce the same success.

ST:       Your life on Earth sought to improve the lot of the disadvantaged.

GL:      Yes, my focus then might now be called Labour or Liberal or Progressive, Social and/or Democrat. The elements of oppression, or advantage and position, could be associated with Conservative or Republican or Toryism.

ST:       Would you change your focus or orientation for that life, knowing what you know now?

GL:      No, not at all. Each of us has a role and purpose to life; contravening approaches are necessary.

ST:       What future to this process do you see, as life moves on?

GL:      This will change; with certainty. How it will be modified will be your choice, yet I can hint that improvements will be had. Allow me to caution you; being forced to eat better foods will cause irritation and protest before the good health the improved diet produces. So the steps humanity takes to ascend to a better place will include a few stumbles; as you might trip or see others lose footing, lose no faith, I ask. Your ascent continues, no summit of a mountain is reached by staircase. The view you might have is of a good ladder; all well, yet be ready for a few rocky crags en route. Press on and good rungs do soon return.

ST:       Erik, was it right to believe Mr. Lippard has moved on to reincarnate on Earth?

Erik:     Yup.

ST:       You tracked him down?

Erik:     Sniffed him out like a bloodhound.

ST:       Was our ability to have him make contact part of the time illusion many of us are tired of hearing me mention?

Erik:     Yup, traction in action.

ST:       Milk duds or malted milk balls?

Erik:     Milk duds!

ST:       Mr. Lippard, we thank you.

GL:      It was a nice moment for which I offer return thanks.
