Keep Moving

What if civilization just stopped? Humans and all animals on Earth disappeared? We’d all go back to Heaven, and then wars, poverty, corruption, violence, happiness, joy, fun and car washes would all grind to a halt as the line of souls filed on back to home. Earth would be trees, deserts, grass, oceans and the decayed remnants of human presence.

What would happen to the solar system? The galaxy? The universe?

ST = substitute teacher C = The Committee & Erik

C:         The title chosen for this subject provides the answer to the subject; the world would not stop; it could only stop short. Soon all would continue.

ST:       Years ago I read a phrase which said “please tell the world to stop, I want to get off”. Why can’t humanity just leave? Doesn’t free will to arrive mean free to go?

Erik:     Yeah, and when 7 billion life plans all get shredded, there won’t be enough architects to redraw all that shit.

ST:       Why? Everybody has at least one Guardian Guide all the time and sometimes others for a shorter period; let’s assume a revolving battalion of 30% of regular forces, so that’s 7 + 7 + 7(.30) = 16.1 billion all together. Sounds like plenty of architecture to me!

Erik:     Takes a lot more than that.

C:         As you would not burn down a house because the color of the walls, humanity would not choose to leave Earth in a massive departure.

ST:       Why not?

C:         Just as there are many who might not believe a Guardian Guide exists, many who recognize this part of human existence would see the effect we would show and so stop.

ST:       Just think of all the shit that would end. We all love each other in Heaven, we all respect one another there and we appreciate both agreement and disagreement, do we not? But here? The shit speaks for itself.

Erik:     You got a point.

ST:       So what would all of you in Heaven show anybody on Earth to counter the bad stuff? How we can all stay and even more people can become unemployed, raped, murdered, swindled, deceived and generally fucked over? Some days we look out the window and wonder “who dreamt up this crap?”  And we think about human free will, we know we don’t choose crap to happen to us and we don’t choose to do it to anyone else but it happens anyway, all the time. Everything done to stop it and still, crap steaks for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Why can’t we just chuck the whole experiment “in the bin” and, as one shepherd said to another, get the flock outta here?

C:         This is not what any one of you chose.

ST:       Yeah, I chose a car I now think sucks, so I’m changing my mind. I know if one person leaves abruptly, friends and family grieve; We. Get. That. I’m talkin’ mass departure, collective exit, total shift all at the same time. Suddenly we’re all in a purple grass meadow with pink clouds, a violet sky beyond and black tree trunks with red leaves on all of them. Look at that cute orange squirrel with the green eyes….I’m talkin’ we all, at once, leave for greener pastures or whatever color we want (I pick purple)

Erik:     You could do it, that’s a huge effort to get everybody involved.

ST:       We do it in two stages; the doubters see who stays and what’s left behind, and we all know who half of those people will be, and so the rest of us launch their rockets to Heaven and blast off, too.

C:         The majority would choose to remain.

ST:       Then we show them what Heaven is REALLY like and prepare a point-by-point comparison; two columns, Earth Shit on the left, non-shit on the right! See?  Wars, and…….NO WARS! Rich greedy mother fuckers, and…….NO GREED! Murderers, and……NO MURDERERS! Nobody can be killed! Yay! C’mon, Committee, it just doesn’t get any better than that.

C:         There is much frustration on Earth, that we see and of this we know. The turn draws near for just what you describe and so a shift in direction will take place.

ST:       Help me out here Erik; we get the direction change thing but what we don’t get is why it’s so vague; you open the restaurant and start cooking at the grill and you know there will be a filthy grill to clean up when closing time rolls around. The class at school will have a final exam; you know it and you know when, so why can’t things on Earth and Heaven be like this? Some people will fail the exam or leave the grill pretty dirty, but at least we have some idea, don’t we?

Erik:     Yeah, some people fit in and some don’t.

ST:       We can’t find a place, it seems. Or we do and then it turns upside down with no warning. Then what do we hear? “It’ll get better.” Like another politician and some of us in the USA (not me, I didn’t watch) have just finished two weeks’ worth of that.

C:         There is a purpose to the frustration and so it was chosen and you remember the moments of joy, you all do. The happiness and satisfaction earned through your experience make all efforts worth it.

ST:       Yeah, just like giving a camera to a blind man; big deal. Why can’t humanity just check out? Rebuild a better society where all the crap – human generated – can be tossed?

C:         This you will all do soon. You are doing it now.

ST:       Well, it sure doesn’t feel like it. Maybe it does to somebody, but it’s the minority.

C:         How might you all rebuild a society without troubles you would discard?

ST:       Send everybody to school first and then put on shock collars, like with dogs. When somebody starts shit, zap!

Erik:     I push the buttons! When do we begin?!?

C:         This opportunity is upon you now.

ST:       Where? When? How? I just don’t see it. I know it appears that way – I get mucho information about it – but every time we round a corner, another slice of shit pie; here, have a bite. We signed up for this? Then there really is something wrong with us, what we’ve always wondered sometimes. It’s really true?

C:         There is nothing wrong with anybody on Earth; characteristics and circumstances create this impression. You are far more than this; all of you.

ST:       So what’s the purpose of all the crap here? We knew about it, signed up anyway and what?

Erik:     My own experience was profound in this way; I have seen into things I would never know by my place in Heaven, what I would not know but for my visit to Earth.

ST:       You didn’t know it at the time.

Erik:     No.

ST:       You planned and remembered after it was done. I know, I know the purpose would not be achieved if you had known while here. Yada yada, we’ve all heard it. Problem is, that doesn’t help anybody now. Are we not supposed to help people? How? How many humans can barely keep up and can’t even help themselves? So let’s all leave. Sayonara. Hasta Luego. See you later. Well, why not?

C:         Earth is a living being as anything upon it; what you would see as a soul you will appreciate in your Earth in a short time. There has come a time for adjustment to this soul and what lives upon it. Frustration is this process.

ST:       Why can’t we all get on the stairway to Heaven, Erik? All together?

Erik:     You are. It’s a staircase of many steps, frustration but one of ‘em. Keep moving.
