More Erik Encounters

I have a dilemma. Bluebell, our Russian Blue rescue cat from Hurricane Katrina, seems to be suffering from dementia. She pees in the oddest places: our fruit bowl, countertops, the stairwell and any dishcloth or piece of clothing that might be lying around. We’ve checked her for urinary problems and she has none. Now she’s starting to poop everywhere as well. My question is: when do you consider euthanasia in a case like this? Have any of you been through something of this sort? Feedback appreciated.

For those of you who missed The Christine Upchurch Show, you can hear the archived show HERE. Erik was in fine form and the host’s questions were brilliant.

I need a headcount for our second city, New York City, so please answer this poll so we can arrange for there to be enough food. Thanks!

If you haven’t already, be sure you answer the headcount for Denver here:

Now for more fun Erik stories.

Story #1

I’ve been following the CE blog for more than a year now after reading the first book, borrowed from the library. Always afraid if Erik would prank me, wondering if he would, how he would do it, expecting it and wishing he wouldn’t at the same time.

Then just a few months ago, while I was catching up with the postings of the blog while listening to Deva Premal on YouTube, doing some internet shopping on several websites and researching for an upcoming holiday, I suddenly became aware of a hand bell ringing in short spurts. It had been ringing for some time.

Sounding like several shakes of the bell, sometimes nearer apart, sometimes further, some longer shakes, some short shakes and sometimes with some difficulty getting started…like d-d-d-d-ding-ding-ding-ding. I wandered round the room looking for a possible source. Then thinking it might be one of the retail webpages pushing me to complete the purchase, I started closing down the windows one by one until there was none left. But the ringing went on.

It was then I realised it was Erik. What a lovely way he chose to let me know he was there. I’ve always prayed to the angels and feel a deep connection to them. The bells really sounded so pure and light, like angel’s bells. Once I realised it was him, they rang several more times before stopping.

Thank you Erik, Jamie and Elisa. I have learnt so so much from you, and continue to do so.

Story #2

So this one time in band camp. NAH! I’m messing but one night, I was so tired and my earrings were bothering me. I took them off and put them underneath my pillow. 2 days pass and I need them to re-piece my ears. So I looked at my underneath pillow and only found one. I was thinking that “oh the other earring must be under the bed!” So I am looking and didn’t find anything. Days passed, finally started to clean my room…and…BAM! under my night light was my other earring. I’m not 100% but I got the feels. 💕

Story #3

Elisa, I’m so glad I found your marvelous son. Im in a process, starting to feel more closely with religious beliefs and so on. I have been reading your post and also watching “the youtube” videos, I ask your son Erik to re-assure his presence to me and I last Friday Sept 18, 2015 on my way to my office ask him to have a bird poop in my car, forgot completely about it , following Sunday Sept 20, I went to use my car and to my amaze I found this big “bird poop” on the passenger side window. I have no doubts now, that is for real, be happy honey, your son is very well alive and is a beautiful soul. I have to thank all , Erik, you , Jamie for all you do.

Elisa can you please post picture.?

I would but I lost it! Can you email it to me again?

Story #4

I am one of the “older’ members here, having joined the CE group way back early 2010-ish, when Elisa was just starting to Blog about Erik. I was also referred here by another early member, Stanley, who found the blog interesting. I just hope Elisa remembers me, as i haven’t been here in a long time…I’m sorry! =( just got caught up in life…., but i never forgot about you and Erik! =D I may also have posted this before, but it’s been a LONG time.

Anyway. quite a while ago, Erik set up a request for anyone who wanted him to do a prank or have him visit. He stated that people do a request, and the only thing that they had to do was go to bed that night, lay on their side and face south, easy enough right?

WEEEEEEELLLLLL, I think I left a comment, and then went to bed, laid on my (left) side, and facing south, and tried to go to sleep. Thats when it happened….I was alone in my room, but felt a VERY distinct and sudden shove on my right hip, being pushed forward with a jerk!! My reaction was WTF was THAT??? It felt like what my chiropractor used to do during a session and twisting my hip to get things realigned. It was a VERY odd feeling!

I’m not sure as it has been quite a while, but I think the following night, after I went to bed, I remember the distinct feeling of someone jumping on my bed! Or maybe running across the foot of it, but again, very distinctive, and had to miss, and yes, I was a bit freeked out!
I can just imagine Erik laughing his butt off all the while doing this as it was completely (for me) unexpected, but at the same time…welcome.

His final prank (that I can recall, as there may have been more that I didn’t ‘notice”) was when he relocated my car keys. Now when I do laundry, I ALWAYS take everything out of my pockets in my bedroom, and place them on the chest of drawers….there is no reason to put that stuff (Keys, wallet, change etc) anywhere else. That way I know where it is and can find it easilly….right?? RIGHT??
Anyway, I washed my uniform pants and shirt and a few other things, and afterwards got ready for work, with everythibg in my pockets where they belong…or so I thought.

I got to work, and looked for my car keys to the vehicle that I use (I use a seperate car for work) and they weren’t in my pocket where they should have been! ‘m thinking WTF (again) and looked and looked to see if I dropped them or if they were somewhere else that I could have put them…but no. (Grrrr) so I had to use my ‘normal’ non work car for work, which bothered me. Finally I called my brother at home and asked him if he had seem any car keys laying around, on the floor or somewhere, and he said no. I asked him to go look around and he did, he went down stairs and looked around, and didn’t see anything, but then on his way back upstairs, he said “found them!” I asked WHERE?? and he replied “On top of the dryer” ….again. heres that WTF moment. I N*E*V*E*R would have put my car keys there, but when I got home, there they were, big as life!

Then it hit me…ERIK! O*M*G, he got me royally! Even to this day I still think about it and remember it vividly… and again, i am sure that he was laughing hysterically at the prank and the confusion it caused, and I guess I can’t blame him….it probably was pretty funny, though not in ‘that’ moment. =P
So here I am again, years alter relating my encounters with a mischievous young man, wondering if he forgot about me, but no, he hadn’t.

Recently, over on the CE facebook group page, I relayed another story of a recent ‘encounter’. lately I have been in need of some kind of positive confirmation, so again I turned to Erik, and knowing how he likes to show up as a dragonfly, I asked that he ‘show me a dragonfly’ and then promptly forgot about it. A day or so later, while on a delivery, I was at a new customers home , and the front door was a pretty inset piece of glass with frosted etchings of images of nature, flower and trees etc…..and in the lower left corner was a frosted image of…. you got it…a DRAGONFLY! I didn’t realize it at the moment, but only after I left and was on my way back to the store that it hit me…ERIK again! I started to cry and thanked him for yet another affirmation of his existence, and the fact that he bothers to answer ‘requests’ I have had a few more ‘dragonfly’ sightings since then, and I just know that it’s Erik popping by to say ‘HI’ and I remember you! =).

The last one was as I was driving up the street for another delivery, and a dragonfly was flying in front of my car. kind of like ‘leading’ me…or asking me to ‘follow’. It turned and flew off and I had to turn right to go on my way, but the visit was still noted!
So Thank you Erik and Elisa for keeping things going! I haven’t read any of the books yet (Good job!) but they are on my list of things to do. Mostly THANK YOU to Erik for answering yet again my request and not forgetting about me, as I said, I am an “early’ member, and since the site has grown (as well as the FB page with over 3000 members) it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle, but erik still managed to find me, and take time out to answer.

{{{{{{{{{HUGS!!!}}}}} to both Erik and Elisa…and anyone else who needs one…I am still amazed…and befuddled, and intimidated, but hopeful at the same time. I’ll try to stay more in touch, and stop by more often.

Thanks again Erik…. =D for the awesome yet simple experiances…

Tom
