Dear Reader, Although Erik sometimes paints a rosy picture of the afterlife, time and time again he stresses that suicide is not the answer to one’s problems. If you struggle, please understand that the information in my blog and my books is no substitute for professional help. Please click here for a list of resources…

Erik’s Spiritual Contract

[paypal-donations] Before going on the the main event, I want you guys to know that I might be changing from BlogTalk Radio to another livestream podcasting company called PodBean. I’ve just had too much trouble with the current platform. So, there’s always a chance that I will need to skip the next show to familiarity…

Erik on Surrender, Part Three

Erik on Surrender, Part Three

Congratulations to the winner of this past contest, Liana. She wrote, “You are related to Spanish royalty.” I don’t know about royalty, but I am a Spanish baroness since Charlemagne rewarded my family among the “12 gentlemen barons” for pushing the Moors out of Spain. We were all give a barony. Here’s the castle, which…

Erik on Surrender, Part Two

The results are in. The majority of you think that the lengths of the posts are just right. I figured they were too long, so I guess I’m just lazier than you guys! I hope everyone had a great July 4th. Annika came back from her trip to Destin, her last respite before starting medical…

Why Are We Here?

Why Are We Here?

Listen to this latest YouTube at around 12:01 to hear Erik say, “Get high” after which Robert says, “Well, Erik says they get high!” Yet another EVP! Here’s another Best of Erik! I think it’s one of the most important of his posts. Looking back on my life, I see the wreckage of tragedy in…

The Joy of Suffering, Part Two

Well, sorry, guys, but I was shot down on making a vlog of my camping trip. Too many camera shy people. 🙁 We did have a great time, though. The weather wasn’t the best, but the company was. I think the highlight of the weekend was our sighting of big cat paw prints near a…

Ego

Ego

Before we developed this environment we live in now, ego was something that provided that sense of separation and the urge to survival. It’s what was responsible for the fight or flight thing. Then we developed this whole atmosphere of “You’re wrong, and I’m right,” “I make more money than you do,” “I have a loftier career,” “I’m superior; you’re inferior.” It sucks. Now we’re on this runaway train and the ego is diddling with the controls going, “What the fuck do I do now?” Our egos have got us caught on the hamster wheel. Eat or be eaten. Be a winner, not a loser. Our egos also connect us to the past in a way that causes us pain. “Oh, poor me. I was molested as a kid.” You’re attached to the belief that you’re a victim. Well, guess what? You’re not being molested now, are you? If some of you still are, get out of that shit. Let it go. Look at the suffering as a page in a book and turn to the next one.

Struggle

Struggle

In order to fully grasp and get the most out of our human experience, it’s essential to understand the anatomy of our struggles and of suffering in general. Throughout this book, Erik has helped me understand what I struggle with the most, why I do and what it takes to overcome it. I also came…

For Those Who Struggle

For Those Who Struggle

Me: Okay, let’s ask some questions that are hopefully going to help our listeners. What advice do you have for those who are struggling? Jamie: Erik’s sits off to my right. Erik: What kind of struggle are we talking about? Me (laughing): Well, I thought you’d be able to help me with that one! They…

Channeling Mother Teresa, Part Three

Channeling Mother Teresa, Part Three

Enjoy more of our altruistic live wire! Me: Okay. What do you think about your critics, specifically Aroup Chatterjie who felt you promoted a negative image of Calcutta, and he also claimed you were not a significant entity in Calcutta in your lifetime. He felt you misused funds and privileges at your disposal. Is that…

Tapeworms and Fire Ants

Tapeworms and Fire Ants

(Bugle horn sounding). I need you guys. A publisher is considering the manuscript for the Channeling Erik book. If this happens, it gives it more of a chance of raising the eyebrows of a film maker. A well known documentary film maker has already stumbled across the blog and contacted me saying he’s interested in…
