The news has been full of the Sunday solar eclipse; 18 years have gone by since the moon last blocked the sun. The alignment of the planets sharpens the focus of gravitational pulls and increases the likelihood of physical effects.
Interpretations about it were asked from the willing and here’s what they had to say.

Substitute teacher: Do gravitational pulls really increase during major eclipses?
A: Certainly, the astronomy is accurate however there is no prediction of effect, such as an earthquake. Many factors feed into that type of event and gravitational pull is only one possible contributor and not necessary.
Substitute teacher: Are there other increased influences during an eclipse?
A: Yes, astrological tendencies are elevated for the signs in which the eclipse occurs, but this combines with other influences not involved and can “dilute” if you like, or intensify that identified effect; it depends on the individual.
Sub: Overall, what meanings do eclipses have?
A: They represent stages, the beginnings of phases.
Sub: Is there a specific influence to this one?
A: Yes, there always is to any lunar or solar eclipse. They occur on a predicted schedule, of course, just as do many trends or movements. Individual events and to any one person do not, however follow eclipses, but they can coincide. The world event aligning with this one is the NATO summit in Chicago, USA.
Sub: What’s the meaning of this summit?
A: Besides its stated purposes, it symbolizes events to come that will involve the nations having sent representatives and delegations. Nothing of what gets discussed will necessarily prepare for any one event or type of event, because these governments are not aware of any trend, not yet.
Sub: We haven’t asked your name, not yet. Can you identify yourself for us?
A: We are many who answer you, a composite or a committee, as you might like to think. We have not lived on your Earth and do not have such names. They are not used, they are not necessary for us.
Sub: Of course you know who we are and the connection with Erik Medhus?
A: Certainly, and we admire him for this, we will have him speak in a moment. A great message goes out through his efforts and the participation of all who read these words. May we expand a moment, and explain a little more?
Sub: The stage is yours!
A: We thank you. A great questioning will face you all and a sea of answers so deep and broad awaits as you cannot imagine. The answers each one seeks will be provided, of no doubt, so the enormity is not so much important for any one person. We note a tendency of late for concern and worry to overtake in situations where this need not be; this is a natural result of better communication however also its use. All things are known and understood in the way of natural communicating and with this comes direction and filtration, if we’ve used that word as it might be interpreted. In the density of existence on a planet such as yours, any news with a component that affects an emotion draws attention; this is good however the emotion easily takes precedence and the distraction it creates can become counterproductive. This characteristic is good and essential to positive dealings, however, when viewed against the volume and speed of communication, it has become a bit much at certain times. Perhaps an example; there was a recent event in the USA in the state called Florida where one of two young men died in an encounter between them. The event drew widespread attention and condemnation before much was known; the outcome will not be as many first expected.
There will be much happening on your planet and the local concerns will be your focus, not what happens such a distance from you that you are neither affected by it nor can you effect influence upon it. Information flow will continue, certainly, but different levels of awareness will also enhance your filtration of importance. We know these concepts sit well with many readers of these words but not so much so with everyone. That will also change, for the better we must say.
Sub: Can you describe this awareness in practice?
A: We will attempt an example. The great majority of people upon your planet are unaware there is a plan, an objective behind events; there is assumed a randomness that is not always so. This is good overall, as all events planned must arrive without much expectation to provide an opportunity for intended benefit. This aspect is heavily discounted or simply rejected. Many followers of religious groups will recognize general concepts but never specifics; others dismiss it all. New awareness will smooth over the distinctions and differences and create a better acceptance. There is too easy a tendency to impart critical disapproval; awareness will enlighten both ends of this so both the critic observer and the object will see the source and end of the idea. To give an example admired much from your “Heavens”, the way animals are used symbolically, it would be said that some of your leopards will understand and accept the tiger’s stripes as the tiger likewise appreciates the leopard’s preference for spots.
Sub: Erik, you’re quiet so far. Jump in; what can you say about this or anything?
Erik: Just relaxing, takin’ this all in. Eclipses are cool; we can make one anytime here but the excitement of knowing and waiting, that’s pretty cool, a really good thing anyone on Earth has felt. It’s one of the really good things you plan, to give a good perspective.
Sub: Anything interesting to look forward to with this eclipse?
Erik: No, not the event itself but like was just said, it marks the start of a next phase. More interesting things will be happening from now through the end of the year.
Sub: Anything general you want to say Erik?

The “committee” urged the Substitute Teacher to put up answers to the questions in her comment about yesterday’s entry.
Can our passed loved ones just pop in at any time to watch us and see what we are up to? YES and they do, and you will, too.
Do they think about us or have they moved on and we are just a memory? Think and interact, both.
Are they aware of how our time is passing here when they don’t have the same linear time we have? Yes as will be the case with you.
Do they know our futures? Yes but for changes you make.
Are they responsible sometimes for our “intuition” or “conscience” when we feel something isn’t right? Are they putting those thoughts in our head? Yes and yes, and also your guides, or Guardian Angels or companion or companions, all coordinated and synchronized.
When they watch us from Heaven do they wish they were with us? They are with us; the vibrational range is such that you don’t notice but in sensation, thought or “intuition” however they all see, hear, smell and notice you as any other person does. The desire to be with us is to provide comfort and reassurance and help us through the situation and to effectively learn from it, not stop it, prevent it and bring it to a halt. The vast majority of those things you asked to do and so your wishes are followed.
Do they feel sad? Not the way humans understand this, a principal reason for incarnation, to have the experience of that. Disappointed at some choices that go “off path” but simultaneously they feel encouraged to help us back onto the Yellow Brick Road.
Can we have pets in Heaven? Yes, many pets are around. In fact, you will meet all the pets you’ve ever had.
Are the colors really amazing and different like we hear about? Yes, and even more than you know, the colors are transparent, solid and multidimensional and exist in texture, form and feel as cannot be known inside the density of a human body.
Will we understand why things happen the way they do once we get there? For example, will we know why God would create tapeworms when all they do is hurt our pets? Yes, yes and they affect humans also. Tapeworms can be responsible for human cerebral cysts. All beings, 0rganisms and patterns of interaction are planned.
Will we just see our parents in Heaven and say hi and move on or will we still be with them? Both.
Can we still be with our spouse once we are both in heaven? Yes and that is common. Be prepared to know of your spouse as your former friend, sibling, offspring, cousin parent, nemesis or ally.
Are bad emotions like jealousy or bitterness gone in Heaven? Yes, completely.
Will we have all knowledge/memories of past lives? Yes, total.
Will we ever feel loneliness or sadness in Heaven? No, not as is felt here. Disappointment at some outcomes is a better description. This implies opportunity to learn even more from the second try.
When we are in Heaven are we going to look at our kids we left behind who are having a hard time with us gone and will we weep because we miss them and cannot help them like we as mothers want to do? Not in the same way as done on Earth, mostly the feeling is pride, admiration and a sense of encouragement that children fulfill their purpose and how to assist.
Will we remember pain? Like if we die a long painful death, will we remember how awful that was? Yes, both pain experienced and pain inflicted, intentionally, negligently or inadvertently.

Q: How can I go back and mend the past? A: You are experiencing a time line now; this concept of mending implies ruptures, failures, rips, breaks, imperfections and incompleteness and the reflexive burden to repair, rearrange, fix or improve. There is no such process once Earth’s dense existence is finished; there could be an opportunity in another incarnation to encounter similar circumstances and choose differently but that decision can be made with the perspective that nothing of the event need be rectified. Understanding its meaning and value come in a broader view. During “travels” on this timeline in this existence you might also have the opportunity to re-approach however this will be done, if so chosen – bear in mind always, we are not your guides so we say without such knowledge, as it is not our place to dishonor you and intrude uninvited; we love you – to revisit. The “past” never requires mending. Understanding is sufficient; go always forward in thought.
Q: If someone dies a very painful death are they instantly relieved once they pass over and do they have memories of their last final hours? If they were unconscious before they pass over are they aware of the people around them? A: Yes, often the pain is not felt. Memories of all moments are complete, from birth to return. Unconsciousness is a condition of the dense matter and means different things; temporarily away, right nearby, both or something else. Yes, the higher self, the soul in its true state, is always aware of surroundings. Awareness through senses using eyes, ears, hearing, touch and cerebral function are physicality which remains on your level in density.
Q: What is prayer? A: Communication back towards your home. Q: Does prayer help others? A: Yes, enormously. Q: How does it help others? A: Thoughts are more powerful than any force known and is what binds and forms the universe. Power of thought does not reduce when souls courageously choose to be in a dense human body; awareness becomes less as its power and effects are delayed, therefore are not often perceived. Everything that happens, good or less ideal, begins and ends with thought. Prayer is a human language word for communication with us. Q: [Does prayer help] ourselves? Exactly as it helps others, no difference. ALL – we use your human language technique of capital letter for emphasis; your substitute teacher likes it – “prayers” are heard. ALL. You help yourself with prayer by asking. It is as that. Ask. Ask.

Q: How do I pray for him? A: Talk to him, first, then talk to his guides, in your mind or out loud, it does not matter, both have equal good effect.
Q: How do I distance myself from him? A: We are not yours or his guides, nor a soul group. We admire all of your courage, are not of this inclination and not so arrogant to believe we might comment over the more capable & involved. We observe and offer a view and do not intrude uninvited. You do not and would not distance yourself from him; you both chose each other as mother and son and for positive reason. Distancing is not an alternative. You need not worry. Speak calmly and tell your concerns. Listen quietly. Prepare for feeling positive. Answers will come at a certain pace yet all you say is heard immediately. You need not worry about this question, it travels in the opposite way you might perceive. The understanding of “greater pictures” is held from that end and encapsulates circumstance in its purpose.
