How to Comment on Channeling Erik

With change can come some unexpected learning curves thrown at us. We totally get it! As you probably noticed, we have migrated over to using Disqus for comments, which is sooooo much better, once you get the hang of it.

Some of you have expressed concerns or troubles signing in to Disqus to leave comments. The first thing you should make sure is that you have  cookies enabled in your browser (Disqus tells you how to check this). If you have problems logging in to Disqus, click here for account help. You can also claim comments you made previously, if you signed up using the same email you used previous on Channeling Erik (click here to see how).

You can still use the WordPress login at the bottom right of the sidebar to use the forum, etc. We’re sorry for the inconvenience of having to have two logins (one for Disqus, one for WordPress) but as long as your browser is handling cookies correctly, you should only have to log in to Disqus once. Repeat visits to the site should recognize your Disqus account “cookie” immediately and you should not have to re-login to write a comment.

All this talk of cookies makes me think of one of the funniest comic strips I’ve ever seen, which I discovered yesterday and giggled endlessly over:

Have a great day and make sure you test out the comments below!
