Saturday “Culture”

Well, the ST has added a few poems from time to time, as some might remember, and that takes less “time” than a painting or sculpture. So today we get a poem from The Committee.

Life in Paradise

Where on Earth, to go did you hope, when you so far, we did throw without rope?

Your plan is fantastic; you did schedule returns, no junk in the attic, little time left to burn

The title seems silly, nobody has it so smooth, much seems willy nilly, always missing your groove

Uncertainty is life, the unknown well acquainted, predictability, is much overrated

Do you feel you’re adrift, in a canoe without oars, escape not so swift, from the vicious water boars?

Red flying turtles, and underground hawks, make logic seem wrong, when the pet pig does talk

Things will seem crazy, life much disrupted, what’s normal for others is soon interrupted

It’s been planned for growth, you all went quite elated, knowing two sides of both were well anticipated

Fear not the big changes, do welcome the help, when it all looks the strangest it’s okay to yelp

You wanted to be here, you desired to be, a wave on the waters of Earth’s seven seas

Your rope is quite strong, it’s always attached, you’re watched like a baby, your successes unmatched

No divine training, neither test nor exam; completion is waiting just over the dam

Life flows like clean water, with the lightness of air, like a son or a daughter at the last county fair

Be not serious in fun, opinions mean little, joy floats your boats still puppies do piddle

Life always goes on, its course does not stray, from where it’s been aimed to pass every day

You planned for the fun, sometimes you forget a day in the sun, erases regret

Soon you’ll be home and miss where you are, for now you don’t see you’re all such great stars.

ST = Elisa’s Substitute teacher Erik = who’s he? C = that group on the corner over there

ST:       Esteemed Committee, is art as we understand it common once we return home from Earth?

C:         Art as you have it on Earth is your remembrance of the time before you went to be on Earth.

ST:       Music, painting, sculpture, poetry, prose, architecture, design , color, texture….

C:         …mathematics, science, physics, geography, astronomy, engineering and language. These are all as much art as your list. Much of what flows from the person comes from guides and angels and is often from the soul who has gone to Earth.

ST:         Does the novel or painting get created before the soul is in a physical body?

C:           Yes, in some cases. In others, during the life is it manifested.

ST:         That duality thing?

C:       Yes, and we do say duality is often more than two phases or perspectives of a soul’s existence. The third of fourth might not be relevant to the others so there is not “cross pollination” to use your botanical term.

ST:       What role will art have in humanity as we rise in Earth’s dimensionality?

C:         We do say humanity will become art. We see that it already is, yet the many parts which are this will be seen this way, as is not common now.

ST:       What about humanity is art that is not seen this way so much?

C:         All things fashioned from your minds and hands; automobiles, clothing, building, bridges are all art as much as that which exists but for calling it such. We think of art as expressed in your drawing, statue and paint as but a sample or a facsimile of more true art, that which you use.

ST:       Once we leave Earth, will we see much art?

C:         You will all create it, everywhere you go.

ST:       That will become boring, will it not?

C:         This concept of boring is an Earth emotion, one you assume and plan for. This will not be what you encounter; recall a moment upon entering a museum, a car, boat, furniture or motorcycle show or exhibition, a place filled with one thing more beautiful than the next. The sensation of excitement and joy at the things you deem beautiful spread before you…this is what you will encounter wherever you go, once you leave Earth.

ST:       Colors? (Okay, Erik…colours.)

C:         As we have mentioned in other sessions before, the differences in vibration that cause you to not see us all around you, that allow the more solid things of the higher dimensions to pass through the illusion of yours; these vibrations limit the depth and beauty of color that will be rediscovered and remembered as you return. The appearance of a black and white photographic plate of Earth’s histoy before film, as compared to a three dimensional laser light display; this is a small idea of the change from beauty and color around you now, as to what you shall all see.

ST:       Art on Earth is rudimentary, then?

C:         No, it is admired and is a manifestation of what you might have in Heaven. Indeed it is often expressed on Earth and imitated here. Your Earth has many buildings of an architectural style named Art Deco that are copied and given deeper, more exquisite color. Many others also. We like this very much; we meet and gather in places we create that use your designs on Earth. All of what is on your Earth is admired and copied where liked.

ST:       We have many movies which depict scenes of buildings that float, platforms in the sky and traffic that flows through the air as it might on our roads. Are these just our imaginations?

C:         They are images of what is seen, channeled to you. They give an idea of indeed what you will see.  Your imaginations are your factories, your production halls.

ST:       I like Art Deco buildings; can I have a house in this style?

C:         Yes, you already do as you have thought of this. You will change the appearance of your house on its exterior as you choose. Your computers have this function, a selection of appearances. This is an idea of what is seen and done.

ST:       Is there confusion from these changes?

C:         No, happiness and enjoyment.

ST:       Does everybody like everything all the time?

C:         No, there is much diverse opinion and taste. Your Erik often likes to change appearances of things to the way he prefers.

ST:       So I could have a house with my preferred Art Deco design and he would change it?

Erik:     English Tudor!

ST:       Does anybody change it back in anger?

Erik:     No, they can make it blink back and forth between their design and mine, and the windows will wink, when I come by. Then I put eyelashes on the window, maybe a little eyeliner to make it look sexy!

ST:       Is anything ugly?

C:         No, this notion of ugly is uniquely human, of the Earth. As we gaze upon the creation of a design, we see and feel the emotion and energy of its creator. Your gaze upon what you see as art is this feeling, and the detection of this emotion, this feeling, this sensation of beauty that is associated with and defines your art? We see this in all things and so we understand the attraction of a thing. Often what is ugly on Earth has deteriorated, as this can be remedied in an instant. What is fresh and in condition of new – and we say this idea of new or old is a function of what does not exist away from Earth, so we use it for reference, as it is not accurate but descriptive yes – yet is seen by some observers as unattractive. This sensation of not good looking is the observer entirely, not the object.

ST:       So, what we see as not pretty, is ourselves?

C:         Yes, entirely. All things have beauty.

ST:       This sensation of beauty, is this what drives our relations with people?

C:         Yes, and the many statues, both accurate anatomy and allegorical, such as the photo above, these all refer to the sensation.

ST:       Humanity has very set ideas about beauty in the appearance of other people.

C:         All humans are beautiful, as are all things. The notion of limitations to art and beauty are acquired on Earth.

ST:       Can we color anything and give it a texture we prefer?

Erik:     A shag carpet green monkey with red eyes is no problem.

ST:       Who has such a beast?

Erik:     Anybody who wants one!

ST:       Is there a preferred form of art?

C:         No, all that is created is art. Art as creation is dynamic and lives for its beauty and then other things of beauty are created. No creations are lost and can always be re-created.

ST:       Do we even get bored or grow weary of what we see?

Erik:     Yup, so you just get something else.

ST:       Do we have to create things on our own?

Erik:     No, you can copy whatever you like. It’s a big compliment to see your stuff copied, imitated and discussed.

ST:       What have you created, Erik?

Erik:     A red plaid flannel motorcycle with khaki trim on the frame and forks.

ST:       Lots of chrome?

Erik:     Shiny black, a mirror black finish, even on the tires.

ST:       Can we paint and draw and sculpt as done on Earth?

C:         Of course and a studio for this you can create, and you will we do say.

ST:       I will?

C:         In a place that looks like your western coast by the ocean. The sun will rise there from different directions as you select.

ST:       That’s possible?

C:         Of course, all things on your Earth can be arranged in the order and settings you like; you have this house above a beach and there are stairs which lead down but float above the grass on the hill, never touching the sand or grass. The house is suspended above the ground; you descend the staircase and step off the bottom rung onto the sand. You have the sun set  (Erik interjects to say this was his pun) to rise from 4 different directions, randomly and the entering light will cause the inside to look quite different.

ST:       But there is no time off of Earth and there is no planet surface or sun.

C:         Certainly there are planets and stars; these things do not disappear because of your higher vibrations. You can visit them and be there as you choose.

ST:       But I won’t have sleep and awake cycles like now, to enjoy the sunrise or even the sunset.

C:         You can have them and you do. You can even make your sunrises and sunsets different colors; green is your favorite.

ST:       Don’t tell me, blue moons, too? Is that the reason I like that song, that poem? “Blue moon, you saw me standing alone, without a dream of my own….”

C:         Yes. There is your art.
