911, What’s Your Emergency?

Well, I’m getting ready to take off on my tour. I’m a little nervous, so I’m hoping you guys will send me some good Voodoo vibes. Of course it helps for me to know that this is bigger than me and my ego. This is for my son, for you, and for anyone in the world who wants to listen. I’m going to try to post as much as possible, because I really do miss it!

Me: Can spirits, for instance evil spirits, create conflicts with other spirits? Like on earth, if we’re having major conflicts with someone like being stalked, harassed, blackmailed, etc. we’re able to call the police to have the problem taken care of and possibly have that person put in jail. Do spirits have someone they can call to take care of something like that? Is everything safe in the afterlife? This person says, “When I die, I want to travel and see everything in the Universe, but I wonder if there are some places that I shouldn’t visit because of dangerous entities.” (Chuckling) So do you guys have a 911 line?

Jamie (laughing): That is a very great question. Me, Jamie, saying that. That’s a great question.

I chuckle.

Erik: I better get a fucking phone soon so I can call 911 if I need to! The, um—

Jamie listens to Erik for a while.

Jamie (to Erik): Yeah, but you have to explain that then. (Pause) All right. Go for it.

Jamie (laughing): He’s laughing at me like, “Oh shit!” Ah, I like to see him overwhelmed. It’s kind of cute! He’s sitting down now and he’s got him elbows on his knees. He’s leaning like, “Okay. Okay.”

Erik: You gotta understand that—

(Pause)

Jamie: He’s going to call Heaven the holding cell. It’s a multi-dimensional place.

Me: Mm hm.

Erik: But you can call it a location similar to Earth is a location. This multi-dimensional mix is a location where a lot of spirits—think of it as another incarnation, okay?

Me: Mm hm.

Erik: And then there’s another incarnation of your own. And in this holding cell, this space, this whole negative stuff that we have in the lower dimensions doesn’t thrive very well, doesn’t survive. You can think about it and process the deep emotions like being raped or murdered or robbed; you play a victim or get angry or jealous, all these things, but when you go to express them or follow through with them, it burns out. It’s self-contained in this holding cell. So we don’t really need a 911. Now there are entities that are just mean as fucking shit. They’re horrible. They abuse humans. They go against everything. They’re not residing in this holding cell I’m talking about, this Heaven place. They’re still trying to survive and live on Earth in the lower dimensions which gives them the ability to have the murder, the rape, the jealousy, anger and be able to play it out. It doesn’t burn out. They can feed fuel to the fire and create a reaction on Earth. They can hurt people. They can make them sick. They can scare the fuck out of them, set fire to the house. They can do all kinds of wicked, nasty shit. It’s because that entity has not crossed over into this next location—the holding cell, the Heaven part. So don’t get it confused that when you become a spirit that you can’t have all these things and cross over into Heaven and still have all this shit, because it doesn’t work like that. All I want to say to your members—

Jamie (bursting out in laughter): He’s obviously seen Poltergeist.

Me: Yes he has! He loved it.

Erik (putting his hands up): I just wanna say to the blog members and everybody out there in our family, go in to—

Jamie (giggling): I can’t even imitate him!

Erik (in a mysterious, ghostly voice): Go to the light, Carol Anne! Go to the light! You definitely want to cross over. You want to get into this sweetness and goodness and learn about your life and grow, because when you die, you lose your body and then you stay on the Earthly plane, it’s really fucking hard!

Me: Yeah, but there’s not light necessarily. How do you know how to cross over if you don’t have this belief that there’s this white tunnel?

Erik: Ah, just simply ask for help.

Me: Oh yeah. That’s right. You’ve said that before. All right. That sounds good. That’ll help you cross over.

Erik: Yeah, give me a shout out, man! I’ll come and pull your ass from that place!

Me (giggling): All right. Good!

Erik: Breech birthing.

Jamie and I laugh.

Me: That’s gotta hurt.

Dear Reader,

The journey on which you’re about to embark will take you through stories that are deeply personal and involves a relationship between a mother and her son.

As a physician raised by two atheists, I had no personal belief system about life after death. In a word, I was a confirmed skeptic. As my journey progressed, my mind opened. It is my sincerest hope that yours will open as well and that you will have a greater understanding of your own life and what’s to come ahead.

Although Erik sometimes paints a rosy picture of the afterlife, time and time again he stresses that suicide is not the answer to one’s problems. If you struggle, please understand that the information in my blog and my book is no substitute for professional help. Please click here for a list of resources for help when you find yourself considering taking your own life. Know that they are readily available when you feel that hopelessness and despair that many of us feel from time to time in our lives.

I refuse all donations and ad revenue on the blog. It is my dream to one day establish a nonprofit organization that delivers a variety of spiritual services for those who have lost loved ones to suicide and cannot afford that assistance on their own. It’s a mission of love, sacrifice, and dedication.

Love and light,

Elisa
