I had the most wonderful experience last afternoon. I was sitting on my couch, checking emails on my laptop (I get a lot. Sigh.) and suddenly I get a strong whiff of perfume. Immediately I knew that it was my mother’s favorite, Nina Ricci Capricci. It’s no longer available, but I don’t need to smell it to confirm its fragrance, because she wore it nearly every day throughout my entire childhood. I guess Mom was saying “hi.” Or maybe she was fussing at me for being on the computer so long and that I should get into that kitchen to cook dinner. (Insert bullwhip sound here.) I’ll tell you one thing; her smells are a lot nicer than Erik’s!
Now for today’s post where I paraphrase what Erik has told me over the span of several sessions:
From time to time, we get comments from people who are testing the waters where belief in the afterlife in concerned. They’re in a tug-of-war struggle. Do I believe or do I not? One of the biggest obstacles preventing many of us from believing is the fact that we can’t see spirits or the dimensions they live in. I submit to you this: We can’t see radio waves either, but we know they exist. You see, everything is energy. Everything. Your shoes, your computer, the trees outside your window and you. Erik says that we’re sentient energy that’s self-aware. We’re thinking energy. Even our emotions, our thoughts, information are all energy. Believe it or not, Love is an energy, too. In fact, before his death, Albert Einstein tried to define Love in mathematical terms, but he died before he was able to do so.
So, every form of energy vibrates at its own unique frequency. X-rays, UV rays, radio waves, infrared waves, microwaves, etc. Our energy vibrates within a tiny, tiny sliver of this “electromagnetic spectrum” of energy frequencies. That’s where we see things. That’s where matter is. (Einstein referred to matter as “frozen light.”) That’s where our entire world is. So, anything that vibrates at a frequency above or below the visible range is invisible to us, including spirits. Think of a hummingbird. When it sits quietly on a branch, you can see its wings, but once in flight, those little wings beat at such a high frequency that they’re all but invisible.
Often you hear that those who grieve the deepest are the last ones to feel their loved one’s presence, to receive a sign or visit. There’s a reason for this. When you’re deeply depressed, the frequency of your energy gravitates to the lower end of the visible range. That’s why we use phrases like, “I’m feeling down,” “I’m feeling low.” “I’m feeling depressed.” Expectation does the same thing. It moves you to a lower frequency. Have you ever noticed that when you’re down or when you have expectations you feel heavier, denser and when you’re elated you feel lighter and more buoyant? So, imagine how hard a spirit has to work to lower their energy so that they can reach you at the bottom of that scale? So, if you miss someone, try thinking of happy thoughts. Easier said than done, of course, but give it a whirl.
Last but not least, I strongly recommend that you subscribe to Victor Zammit’s Afterlife Reports. He’ll email them to you every Thursday (sometimes Friday). They’re chock-full of evidence for the survival of consciousness after death and the existence of the dimension Erik calls “Home.” Here’s his site (also in my links list.) VICTOR ZAMMIT
