I had been having a bad day this Sunday morning. I watched earlier in the morning the You Tube session on Bullying. I had been feeling rejected by work colleagues that were resembling typical school yard behaviour I experienced when I was back in high school. I was feeling pretty awful and asked Eric in the morning of the 3rd Dec 2023 to make a noise through the wall. Later that day I heard a crashing noise and the ceiling light glass cover had actually fallen in the hallway around 2pm and my 17 yr old daughter ran out of her room and said “I think we might have a ghost”. I think Eric really was trying to get my attention. I don’t know if it was Eric but I assumed it was and hoping he Woke me as I had been feeling pretty helpless on this long journey. I turned 50 in July and been raising my daughter by myself as a sole parent, her father has little to do with her living so far away. And she often has anger episodes and projects her anger on me. I have moved 4 hours out from the Coast to buy a home (Jan 2022) that was affordable just to have a roof over our heads.I found that I wasn’t accepted because I didn’t come from this little town. I was thinking why are humans so cruel. It is like a pack and I didn’t fit in (but that is normal feeling for me), I did not know much about this town and did not like gossip but was surrounded by small township gossiping women at work. I felt these women were acting like a bunch of bitches!!!. My shyness/reservedness stands out everywhere, and I have been picked on more times then I can remember, even though I am confident and work as a Case Manager, other women in the work force seem to want to gang up and throw stones, gossip and act like competing know it alls. I think at times I don’t really like people but I have huge empathy towards everyone and especially people suffering here on earth. I really was feeling low and Eric gave me hope to come back from a dark place. I also had a flash in my minds eye of Matthew Perry and just was very grateful. We who are a different all have a tough time doing LIFE.
Erik knows exactly how to get noticed! He wants you to know that you aren’t alone, even though your Journey has left you to feel that way. Erik says he is sticking around to help your daughter too!
