The Necklace, the Sewage, the Earplugs, the Cooking Spray and the Hug

The other post from today was awesome but a little short, so here’s another one. Damn, Erik sure was busy with her!

I’ve been reading CE for several years now and am so grateful to have found such an amazing community and a guide in Erik. Words can’t even express how I feel, but Erik seems to read my mind anyway so I’m guessing he knows…

Over the years, Erik has pranked me many times. He’s the best at it, and he knows it. But it’s always meant to bring a smile, a chuckle or at least a “WTF Erik?!?”

#1 – The Necklace. Before I even found CE, I was playing around with my new psychic skills (I had started hearing things and seeing cartoonish visions around 7 years ago). I read about divination with a pendulum and played around with it a few times. Sometimes it was accurate but on one occasion it was giving me the wildest answers like I would have 8 pregnancies or something (not likely given my age). I suspected that if it wasn’t a bunch of bunk, some spirit was playing a joke on me. The next time I went to find my pendulum (a necklace I loved), it was missing. Gone. I couldn’t find it anywhere. I sat down on the bed, frustrated, and when I got up it was sitting right where my bum had been. I had no idea how it got there. Now I suspect it was Erik’s first prank before we met.

After I found the CE blog, Erik and I began chatting fairly regularly and he would give me information Elisa would confirm. Thanks to him, I realized that my gifts weren’t completely made up, and I didn’t need to check myself into the mental ward.

#2 – The Sewage. I was on a girls road trip, and we stayed in a hotel that we had stayed in multiple times before – all in one room. As we were getting ready for bed, the worst smell of sewage blanketed our room. We could all smell it. Since there was no mention of a problem by the hotel, I assumed it was Erik as that was his calling card, and laughed to myself.

#3 – The Earplugs. I was packing for a trip away and tend to get quite obsessive/compulsive with my organization. I had completely packed and sat down to enjoy some TV before bed, when into my head popped “I forgot my earplugs.” I quickly went into my room to get them and looked where they normally were in my drawer in my nightstand. I never keep them anywhere else and had no occasion to move them. I couldn’t find them. And then noticed them peaking out from a box on my floor where I keep extra books – about 3 feet from the nightstand. There’s no way I would have ever put them there, and they could not have fallen in. Mr. E rides again.

#4 – The Cooking Spray. All of the other occurrences I could have just put down to chance and maybe forgetfulness. But this one blew my mind. I was cooking one day and reached for the cooking spray, which was about a foot away from my hand. It. Moved. Towards. Me. Let me repeat: As I reached towards it, the can also moved towards me – about 3 inches. I was stunned. I quickly picked up the can and checked to see if there was any liquid under it or on the counter. Bone dry. I measured the counter to see if it was level. It was. There is no explanation that I can see. Freaky.

#5 – The Hug. As I watched a video that Elisa had posted during the CE weekend of Jamie trance channeling Erik where he went around the room and hugged everyone, I got overwhelmed by emotion. And I read comments from others on the post that they did too. A few days later I had a dream of Erik hugging me in a grocery store. The hug was amazing, our energies just merged and it was like he was me, but then moved through me. I could see the scene from the outside but feel it at the same time. Then I went and picked out a salad. I guess Erik is telling me to also eat more veggies? My hope is that everyone who watched the video but didn’t get to be in attendance also got dream hugs too.

Much love to Erik, Elisa, Jamie, Robert, Kate and everyone else here. I don’t get the opportunity to say thanks very often but you are appreciated more than you know.
