Unlike Ashley’s great exercises, this exercise “X” doesn’t have a waiting, specific answer. I believe this will demonstrate the good effect of group thought; rather than a complete answer coming to one person, there will be bits & pieces from different people that will curiously and coincidentally add up and fit together. With no list of public personas, I turn to Bing.com to search for well known people; “famous dead celebrities”, the 3rd choice and then fifth person. Typing and pressing buttons leads us to public persona Y as…….Zig Ziglar.

ST: Mr. Ziglar, your first name “Zig” was it a nickname taken from your surname?
ZZ: Yes.
ST: Did you ever get called “Ziggy”?
ZZ: Yes.
Erik: Do you answer anything besides “yes”?
ZZ: Yes.
ST: Joke time again, Erik?
Erik: Since you brought it up, okay…..two nuns in street clothes walk into a casino, and one says “this is a bad habit….”
ST: (face palm) Aren’t we keeping Mr. Ziglar?
Erik: We’re keeping him here, yes.
ZZ: Call me Zig.
Erik: Just not late for dinner.
ST: I apologize for taking your time…
ZZ: The time is yours, we don’t measure it.
ST: I expect you’ll say your motivational speaking was your life plan, but did you accomplish your objectives? What were they?
ZZ: Outwardly yes, as is the case with almost every person that becomes well known. This is not to say celebrity is required for goals reached, only that becoming well known is rarely accidental, it’s nearly always planned. My unseen goals for this past life were to manage the attention and push through the resistance the attention creates. I wanted to spread a practical version of thought that controls reality.
ST: Did you succeed, as you see it?
ZZ: Yes, well beyond hopes.
ST: I would guess – since we mere mortals can’t tell – most of the people inspired by your books, seminars and teachings might not have realized the power of thought but yes, of action.
ZZ: It was a good spread as I see it, looking back. Some did and some did not. Your website here has done as least as good a job and its upcoming fame will match that, for these new times. Allow me to clarify, as I say your, I mean the collective efforts of all who read, participate, contribute criticize and generally add their thought energy, all of you together.
ST: Upcoming fame? Tell us more!
ZZ: The advances made are a sprout; this plant and the garden it will produce are significant.
ST: Did your immediate past life on Earth end recently, on our timeline, because of the upcoming solstice and 21st of December date?
ZZ: Yes, my life plan was to complete it just before this upcoming solstice.
ST: Do you expect another life on Earth?
ZZ: Yes and I have planned it along with several lives prior to and following this one as Ziglar.
ST: Do you originate from this solar system or elsewhere, and if so, where?
ZZ: Elsewhere, as do many on and around Earth. The system is in the Andromeda galaxy as you’ve named it and conditions there are no longer able to support life.
ST: I have read many souls on Earth have origins where this happened; the star changed and made physical life impossible. How common is this?
ZZ: Normal and expected; of the billions of stars and solar systems in just one galaxy, this is easy to find.
ST: Why does Earth attract souls from without?
ZZ: Uniqueness; it presents a combination of conditions not repeated much; so few planets provide Earth’s environment that it is well known for this.
ST: What things are unique about Earth?
ZZ: Physical appearance is the biggest, compare it to your solar system only; the photographs you’ve produced show less variety and detail of the surface, and a smooth blending of colors, except your Earth. The distinctions of clouds, water and land and the many colors seen in the land appear ever more different and varied the closer the look. This is one part of the uniqueness. The life upon Earth multiplies this diversity of composition many times over. I see curiosity often expressed here from observations of recent Earth ideas, that diversity and differences in the civilization must be embraced. It is curious from this point of view to see humans express a desire for more approximation of differences; these great differences would come under a tendency to be combined and there would be less of them if this trend took hold for too long. The attraction of Earth is the diversity of opinion and the disputes and disagreements produced.
ST: We look at this culturally as bad.
ZZ: This is the curiosity part; where this leads to bad effects receives the attention more than the benefits and uniqueness produced. Both result. Yes, some bad things could be lessened but such learning comes out of them.
ST: Your motivational work and advice for “closing the sale” must be related to this.
ZZ: Completely intertwined; closing the sale is showing the buyer why it’s good for the buyer. It is easy to perceive of a salesperson pushing a sale where the buyer should not or cannot do it. The good operator should do this imperceptibly to the customer, identify it and then turn attention to the better prospect or continue.
ST: What about the ideas offered here on this website; no money is charged. How are they “sold”?
ZZ: A sale for money is a vote of confidence; the Earth expression “to vote with your wallet” describes agreement with the attraction. The money provides the ability to continue many parts of the process but money itself is just a lubricant as are good emotions, ideas and feelings. Wealth is perception and satisfaction is richness. The idea of my motivation work was to convince people of the ability all humans have to influence others positively. Once tried and experienced, it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
ST: If you could change one significant thing about your must recent life, what would it be?
ZZ: Put out more books with greater detail on different subjects.
ST: I am personally curious, almost to a fault, about what’s awaiting humanity as we enter 2013 and beyond. Certainly most if not all readers here share this flaming curiosity and all of you having returned to the place that offers this view, this knowledge, what can you tell us on CE and humanity in general? Insights, advice, what-have-you?
ZZ: It has been said more times than should be counted yet it cannot be said too often; be ready for a shift in awareness. Be prepared for a rise in understanding. There will be great changes to life on Earth and the sum total is advancement; the changes will have every effect possible to be imagined, depending on the person and position. It will be simple, by habit, to see and view things as we expect to see them but there will be things confusing, strange and even disturbing. These challenging thoughts, unusual reactions you feel? This is the beginning of a new understanding; do not resist the weird ideas at first, where this happens. For many of you, it will not be often so when it happens, consider your initial reactions and then step aside and look at what you might say or do and ask yourself, if you were not you but somebody vastly different, what would you not do or do differently? This consideration of differences? This is the beginning of the new awareness and understanding. It might come slowly or in a rush but it will come more and more easily and in what will seem like no time, many of you will wonder how things worked they way they did, not so long ago.

Yesterday’s dog collar mystery, quickly solved by the sharp, sleuthing eyes of astute blog readers everywhere, tells a good lesson about “filtering.” Had I known the collar links passed through as Tracy and Bruce explained, I probably wouldn’t have thought “Erik prank” but I did, strongly and immediately. It’s easy to conclude “overactive imagination” however what is an imagination, after all? Images….and aren’t images communication? To the point, how much does a person filter through knowledge, ignorance, ideas and attitudes without realizing it? Dog collars or bubble gum, should the practiced-to-the-point-of-automatic interpretation explain everything? Do true messages require mechanical precision to be accurate? Can we reform habits of meaning and see what might hide right before us? Soon I expect such questions will no longer dog us, as they often have.
