Who Turned the Lights Out?

Message from Kristina:

I will work on moving CE over this week. In the meantime, I ask that you NOT POST ANYTHING Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. In addition, maybe give your readers a warning message that any comments left during that aforementioned time *could* be lost in the transfer. It happens because we can’t control when ppl leave comments on the old server while the world is busy updating the IP address directions to the new server. Unavoidable. Anyway, super exciting! Hope to have everything running without a hitch.

Channeling Transcript

Me: Here’s a question from one of the blog members: “I was just reading the blog where Erik was talking about another type of energy beside God. Can you have Erik talk more about this? I thought God was the only energy. These dark beings that Erik talks about, where are they from, a different level? Do have Erik talk more about this other energy source other than the God Source. Do these beings need to be shown the Light of God? Do we need to avoid these beings at all cost?”

Erik: Well, apologize to him, cuz I didn’t mean to make it sound like the darker energies were separate or away from God.

I’m thinking it’s pretty cool he picked up on the fact that the member who posed this question was a guy.

Me: Okay.

Erik: What I meant to express is that they are the farthest from God. It doesn’t mean that they are separate from God.

Me: Ah! Okay! Just part of the spectrum then.

Erik: Yeah. Everything is God Source energy. You can’t divide away from it.

Me: No, of course not.

Erik (in mock hauteur): That’s just a little bit of a known fact!

Jamie giggles.

Me (laughing): “A little bit of a known fact!”

Jamie and I both laugh.

Me: Erik, that sounds more like a pretty BIG known fact, to me.

Jamie continues to laugh, this time, belly laughing.

Long pause as we both recover and regroup.

Me: So, if God is always equated with being, ah, Love and everything, how can part of that Source energy be evil? Is it evil really? Would you call it evil, or…

Erik: You see, the problem is, when you look at the definition of evil made by humans, we think that it’s so completely separate from God, that it has an identity of its own.

Me: Ah! Okay.

Erik (excitedly): Okay, look. God is the room whether the light’s off or the light’s on. When the light is off, isn’t the room still there?

Me: Yeah. I get it.

Erik: God is the room. It’s just different variations of light to darkness. Put it to people that way, Mom; I think they’ll get it.

Me: That’s very interesting, Erik! Great analogy! You explain things so well.

Erik: Most people like to be in the room with the lights on. Some people love to live in total darkness, but they’re still inside the room.

Me: Yeah, and think of the savings in their electric bill! Still, wandering around in darkness might mean stubbing your toe on a sofa or two.

Erik (chuckling): Yeah, right! They see less of the room, hence they think God is not there.

Jamie (to Erik): Aw! That’s so—high five on that one, Erik!

Me: Yay! That was totally awesome Erik! I especially like it when you say, “hence.” That’s just so cute.

Erik: Aw, shucks.
