Welcome to my journey. My purpose of this blog is to record and teach others as well as myself all that is a life of homesteading, homeschooling, marriage, and children. I am a happily married mother of 10. We welcomed our 10th girl into the world June 26th. We are a Heathen family, which means we honor the Old Gods. We follow Norse beliefs and all we do in our lives revolve around what we believe. We strive to honor the Gods in all we do. My husband and I have begun our journey of homesteading and homeschooling well over 10 years ago. It has definitely been an up and down experience. We have been through many trials. We’ve given up and started again many times. Life has got in the way several times as well as self-doubt or lack of confidence to get started. We always want to do what is right for all of us. After many nights of talking and deciding where life should take us, we decided that it is important to follow our instincts and live the life we always wanted to live. Life is too short to ignore the pull of the life we want to live. How we want to teach our children to live is vital to our future. I hope that this blog will help to not only inspire and teach others but continue to teach myself and family as we journey through this life and what it has to offer.
