Erik has helped to tear down some of the walls which have been built by myself and others surrounding spiritual concepts and related topics. When you can approach God or anything “holy” with a casual demeanor it helps you to connect with Spirit much easier than when you believe these things to be higher than yourself. I sense Erik’s frustration with the multitude of human-created mental constructs that block our ability to connect with Spirit and with each other. I feel like it’s certainly his mission to help us release these things so we can live our lives more fully and be more gracious and forgiving of others, and most importantly, ourselves.
