Feel Like You Don’t Belong?

Since Kim is not going to be able to do the radio show this Thursday, she’s graciously offered to put on another free live stream channeling event. I was confused about just how to get to the event, but in the email below, Kim gives precise instructions:
This Thursday night since I will be unavailable for the radio show, I will be happy to do another live stream on FB to take questions for Erik or myself . This will take place this Wednesday night from 8-9pm EST.
All they have to do is go HERE and send a friend request or follow (I’m working on making this a public page), then, get on Facebook at the scheduled time and go to your notifications. There, you will see a notification that I am streaming live and you can simply click to join!
Next, I wanted to let everyone know that the ticket price for the Oahu has been lowered to $200! This event will take place outdoors, in the park area of Magic Island Lagoon on Sept 30th & Oct 1st. We will have a small bag of a set chakra crystals & smudge supplies that comes with the purchase of the ticket, that we’ll use during some of the workshops. We will also aim to have a healing drumming circle on the sands on Magic Island on Sept 30th in the evening.
Since the cost of the equipment rental is much lower than a venue rental, we can afford to lower the ticket price! Private sessions will also be offered throughout my time In Oahu that week! More info HERE.
Enjoy this post on a very popular topic.

Me: Erik, I would love for you to talk about something that seems to affect a lot of blog members. Many feel like they don’t belong on the earthly plane. They just feel out of sorts. “I feel like I’m an alien on another planet.” I mean, for me, I feel like I have one foot in the spirit realm and one foot on Earth. I am the most clumsy person. I’m not well-grounded. I just feel like I’m definitely not an earthling! Let’s talk about that. People who feel like they don’t belong.

Erik: Yeah, I know, Mom. You are pretty clumsy.

It’s a running joke in the family. If you ever come to my house, I’ll show you the huge dent in the wall of my utility room that’s a perfect cast of my head. Long story. My husband doesn’t let me climb up on anything anymore, including washers and dryers.

Erik: There are a lot of people like that, but there are a lot of reasons for them to feel this way. Some people forget to ask, “Why do I feel this way? What made me feel this way?” But also, people who feel displaced or isolated in their experience, a lot of is, um, well it’s a few things. I’ll be brutally honest. People forget how fucking valuable it is to be here, to actually be on Earth, and people want that connection to the spiritual realm so much that they disconnect with this experience and what’s going on right now. So they are seeking outside of themselves into the spiritual realm too much. You have to be able to maintain a balance between the two. Sometimes that balance can be an illusion. It’s great to be connected to the spiritual realm and to your Higher Self, but people can take it too far. They take it too far in wanting to know all about the spiritual realm until they could care less about their human experience. That sort of defeats the purpose in incarnating into a body and being here for the human experience. For those of you out there listening that feel that way, I encourage you to reconnect to your purpose here. Reconnect to your human self and your emotions, and explore being human just as much as you explore being spiritual. That’s because people can create their own disconnect, so to speak.

Me: Are there any other reasons that people might feel like they don’t belong like maybe they’re really from another galaxy or universe or whatever? Maybe that’s where they usually hang out in a body.

Erik: Well, having that sense of awareness can also make you feel like you don’t belong here. So being more aware of other realms, other planets, other galaxies can make you feel like you don’t belong here because you’re more aware of everything else around you and everything in between. But people have guides. They’re getting that understanding now and are sensitive enough to be influenced by spirit. That, in itself, can make you feel ungrounded and unconnected to this experience. You’re too easily influenced by the spiritual realm. It definitely takes effort, Mom, to feel connected to this life and incarnation. For a lot of people, this goes back to what we just talked about [in another session,] honoring your natural instincts and staying connected with yourself. If you’re not grounded in who you are, you’re being wishy-washy. You’re placing your value, your personal power, all of that, for this experience in somebody else’s lap whether it’s other circumstances or situations with other people. If you place your value there instead of here and in yourself, that’s going to give you that disconnect. That’s going to make you feel like you don’t belong. People do that. They go, “My marriage didn’t work out, and my kids hate me, so I have no purpose here. I feel like I don’t belong here anymore.” All of those things might happen, but you’re placing your value in that situation.

Me: Ah!

Erik: So, you gotta bring it back here and follow your natural instincts to regain that sense of who you are and what your purpose is. Yes, your kids might hate you and your marriage might suck, but you still have a purpose. You still have value, and reconnecting to these is what’s most important. Being able to know that your value doesn’t lie in anybody else’s hands or circumstances is the hard part. People have to work on that, and it takes constant effort.

Me: Okay, well there are a lot of people who are Starseeds, you know, like you told me I was from Pleiades and some are from Orion and some are from Sirius. It seems like [Starseeds] often have a lack of a sense of belonging on Earth.

Erik: That’s true, and a lot of times that’s because you’re basically a new human!

Erik chuckles.

Erik: You aren’t incarnating as a human as much, so that makes you feel like you’re putting feelers on, feeling out, “What’s this type of incarnation like? Everything feels different. I feel isolated in my experience.” That’s because the roots are different. Where you come from is different, and you don’t have much experience being human. There are so many reasons why some people feel isolated in this experience and why they feel like they don’t belong.

Me: Yeah, I remember you said that some of us come here as teachers, and we have students come in and out of our life. They come into our life and leave, come into our life and leave. So, that often makes us feel lonely. I don’t know if it makes us feel a lack of a sense of belonging. I can’t really remember what you said now!

I’ve already confused myself.

Erik: Well, people feel isolated in that feeling. They feel like they’re the only ones who feel like that. “Why do I feel like I don’t belong? I’m the only one who feels like this. I don’t feel like I belong in this family. I don’t feel like I belong in this situation.” There are a lot of teachers. There are a lot of people that come into the human experience, spirits that come into the human experience to teach, and it’s all part of the phases of opening up, Mom, getting humans, mankind to evolve and understand that there’s much more than meets the eye. So part of those teachers come in with the sole purpose of teaching and raising awareness, but still in that sense you have to stay connected with your purpose here. You have to stay connected to your human incarnation because even though we’re all seeking this higher understanding, this higher awareness in the spiritual sense, don’t forget to keep your feet planted here in the human experience. I’ve seen it, Mom. There are people who have disconnected enough and wanted so bad to know the spiritual realm—myself, included—that it winds up becoming a fatal obsession. I want people to understand the value and importance of the human experience.

Me: And a lot of people probably transition and say, “Oh crap. I just wasted a valuable experience,” or “I didn’t get the most out of it because I didn’t ground myself into it.”

Erik: Exactly. That’s just it. People aren’t grounded into it.

Me: So enjoy the pain, people! Enjoy the joy, and enjoy the pain. It’s all part of being human, right?

Erik: It brings you to a higher sense of yourself. I tell people all the time, Mom, that it’s like putting a rock from your driveway into a tumbler, tumbling it up, and it comes out all polished and shiny. The tumbler is the human experience, and then when that experience is over, you come out all shiny. You come out evolved, a higher developed self.

Me: But that tumbler doesn’t get rid of the wrinkles! I’m not all shiny and polished! What the hell?

Erik laughs.

Erik: Ain’t gonna get rid of the wrinkles. It’s going to give you wrinkles.

Me: That’s true, and gray hair. All right. Well, thank you, Erik. We’ll end off a little early so Kim can get oriented in time for her next session, okay? (in a sappy tone) I love you so much. (Then I make a complete fool out of myself by kissing the camera lens.) I miss you, sweetie.

Erik (blowing kisses): I love you, Mom. I love all of you watching, too. I hope every one of you gets something out of this. Thank you all so much.

Me: Bye.

Erik: Bye, Mom.

Kim’s body slumps as Erik leaves, and then she re-enters her body and “wakes up” looking slightly confused and disoriented. I hate the part when he leaves.
