Here I sit in the Alpine Tundra wearing a ratty old housecoat with pockets full of kleenex. Where else but Norway can you have a freaking head cold in July? Ugh.As you know, Erik always loved hanging out here in this little cabin in the middle of nowhere, so it didn’t surprise me a bit when he delivered a few pranks. At around 4:00 AM two nights in a row, he delivered a variety of smells. The first was of freshly baked bread. Hmm, actually, that was probably Andy. The next was the heavy smell of cigarette smoke. It was like someone was lying beside me puffing a stream of smoke in my face! That was definitely Erik. He smoked like a chimney. Then this morning, as I lie awake contemplating getting up, my left leg started tingling from my hip to my toes and became covered with goosebumps. The tingling crescendoed almost to the point of alarm, like, “Is this what someone feels before they spontaneously combust?” type of alarm. I could see Erik is my mind’s eye, grinning widely. I knew it was all his not so subtle suggestion that I get my lazy ass out of bed and make waffles. I smiled back, then rolled over and went back to sleep.
Now, on the subject of political ire: since we’re getting nowhere and the circling is making me dizzy, I hereby suggest we respectfully disagree, embrace our differences, and move on. I apologize, not for what I stand for, but for any misunderstandings I may have been responsible for. I also pronounce this a blog that must remain FREE of personal insults. Logical discussion and heated debates will always be welcome, because this is how we learn. But name calling is from this point forward a big no-no. Know that I love you all.
My son, Lukas, turned me on to the coolest app ever! It’s Bejeweled 3 and if you go to the Zen category, you can play the game while aligning your chakras, picking subliminal affirmations, listening to binaural beats, mantras, doing meditative breathing, entering delta, alpha, or theta state, increasing your lucid dreaming and much more. WARNING: You will be addicted.
I’m too sick to transcribe today, so enjoy these great videos about NDEs courtesy of Kenneth Ring.
