I had two epiphanies yesterday. The first: The first day we moved into our current house, we had no furniture. Erik, then around 2 1/2 years old, sleep on the floor of what would become the nursery for the child I was expecting. Less than 18 years later, that would be the room in which he took his own life.
The second: I remember Erik and I having a discussion about life after he had had a few days of deep depression. Trying to make him feel valued, I asked, “Erik, what do you think your purpose is?” He surprised me when he answered, “To help teach people how to live in the moment.” Wow.
I love orbs, but moving ones are especially cool. Here’s one from blog member, Carol. She suspects it’s her father.
Here’s one that blog member, Yessenia, submitted. Is her son cute or what?
Click on this amazing movie of a very fast orb zipping around. Warning: This doesn’t work on Chrome.
I hope I didn’t already post this, but here’s another “Erik” orb. Through Jamie, he says he was going in for a hug. My grand daughter, Arleen, talks about him all the time. One interesting point: this one was taken by her Dad’s smartphone. It’s very rare to catch an orb with phone cameras, plus it eliminates the possibility of “camera strap interference” which I’ve heard is a common cause of false orbs.
Here are two pictures with moving orbs, too.
