In case you didn’t see it on social media, I just uploaded a video to the Channeling Erik YouTube channel where Erik sheds light on a lot of conspiracy theories that have had us scratching our heads for years, sometimes decades! Click HERE to watch it.
Damn, it’s a busy day for me. Not only am I in the throes of planning the tour with Heather and Kim, I’m also trying to get the radio show going. I’m hoping the first of our weekly shows will start January 14th at 6:00 PM Central Time. I’ll let you know when it’s official. During the show, you’ll be able to call in and ask Erik questions or chat live. The questions can be personal or can be about death, the afterlife, spirits, the human experience, and more. The only questions I don’t want are the validation ones like: “If you’re the real deal, what was my Aunt Betty’s last meal.” We’re not here to prove the soul’s survival after death. There will be no commercials during the show, therefore no revenues will be earned. It actually costs me $50/month, but it’s important to me to do what my son wants and he wants to be more accessible to as many people as he can reach.
Y’all be sure to vote in yesterday’s poll if you haven’t already! Here’s the link again:
Enjoy today’s post!
Me: Hello, Jamie Butler!
Jamie: Hello, Elisa Medhus!
Me: Medium and teacher extraordinaire!
Jamie (giggling): Thank you!
Me: How about you, Erik? You’re already around, pestering, I guess.
Jamie: Yes he is. He was telling me not to answer on the first ring to make you sweat a little bit.
Me: Oh my god. If things like that make me sweat, I have bigger problems! So how are you doing, sweetie?
Erik: Happy. Busy, all in good ways.
Me: Oh good.
All of a sudden, the FaceTime window turns upside down, then spins.
Me: Uh oh! You turned upside down!
Jamie: What is going on!
Me: Wow, did you see that?
Jamie: I’m not touching anything!
Me: Is that you, Erik, doing all this crazy stuff with the video, making it turn and revolve?
Jamie: I’ve never seen that happen!
Me: I wasn’t touching it either. That’s weird. Was that you, Erik?
Jamie: He said, “Yes,” but our screen is not our traditional FaceTime screen.
Me: I know!
Jamie: It’s different.
Me: My, the whole thing was twirling!
Jamie: So was mine!
Me: I’ve never seen that happen. Okay, Erik. Be good! I know it’s not my little Yorkie, Bella, because she’s on the other side of the desk. All right, we’re going to talk about your favorite subject, Lukas, uh, I mean Erik! Oh my god, I’m thinking about your brother! By the way, it’s his birthday! Shout out to Lukas, 23 years old!
Erik: Happy birthday!
Jamie: He’s singing.
Me: We’re going to talk about your favorite subject, and that is women. You’ve always loved women. Even when you were little, like 4 years old, you’d go up to a complete stranger and tell them what a beautiful dress they were wearing and how lovely their hair was.
Jamie (To Erik, chuckling): You did?
Erik: Yes, I was a perfect little gentleman.
Me: You really were. And you asked Ms. Kane, your preschool teacher, to marry you. That didn’t work out.
Scratching noises.
Jamie: Do you hear all that?
Me: Oh, that’s Bella. She’s licking my paper.
Can’t blame Erik for everything!
Me: Okay, Bella. Get down.
Jamie laughs hard.
Jamie: I’m not like touching anything.
Me: No, we can blame Bella for that. Okay, we’re going to talk about women, and the first thing I want to know is the cardinal differences between a male and female spirit, or let’s put it this way, somebody who chooses to come in as a woman versus a man.
Erik: Well, I’m taking your first question whether you like it or not. The difference between a male energy and a female energy, I’m going to have to give that a big fat zero. The soul is all the same. It’s the perspective on it that’s different. Both parties love; both parties care; both parties can be angry and aggressive. That energy is fuel, and the fuel is all the same, but you buy different cars. You buy different makes and models. That’s pretty much what happens with the physical body. So we get these bodies that are like the cars: trucks, SUVs—
Jamie: He doesn’t want to leave anybody behind.
Erik: Some of them are like motorcycles, but we can get into that later.
Jamie: He thinks all the authentically ADHD people are motorcycles because they go so fast they can’t hold onto any one thing or any one topic.
Erik: But the soul is all the same. It can be a man or a woman. We’re picking societal—
Jamie: Is that a word?
Me: Uh huh.
Erik: –societal roles. Now you’re the one looking stupid, Jamie.
Jamie laughs.
Jamie: Thanks, Erik!
Me: We take turns. We take turns at that.
Erik: When we take that energy and put it into a man, then we’re looking at a position of empowerment—somebody who’s already born with the instinct—the culture sets it up that if you’re a boy, there are certain expectations for you. That determines how that energy is used, and how the body is made grooms how the energy is used. So let’s say the body is made of a particular chemical issue like bipolar disease or the early onset of a certain disease. That influences how the energy is used. It changes how the soul uses the energy. Then, as the person, male or female, gets older and starts to have independent thoughts, needs and wants, then that’s the third way that the soul is being—
(Pause)
Jamie: He wants to use the word “manipulated,” but then he was like, “I think some people might see that as a negative connotation.” He’s mumbling and going fast.
Erik: So those are the three ways that the soul is adapted to fit our needs, but if we look at the soul as it stands alone, it possesses all the traits, all that is, everything. We’re the ones that change it and use it to meet our needs.
Me: Okay. We choose our gender, so why do some spirits choose to come in as women?
Erik: For different reasons, Mom. We have to look at where on Earth they’re incarnating because that’s a huge difference.
Me: Oh god, yes.
Erik: Because some women aren’t seen as having any rights, so if you want to learn about perseverance or how to be dominated or how to follow the rules, I have some places you could incarnate to. In some places, women are seen as the “it” thing. You know there are matriarchal tribes—they’re the rulers. They’re the ones that give life in their honor. If you want that kind of life—
And I do.
Erik: –then I know where you can incarnate. But in general, we already have definitions of women. They’re care providers. They’re more sensitive. They’re more wired to emotions, and if you’re looking for a life experience that requires you to be wired more to emotions than to logic, being a woman is much easier because your culture has an expectation for that. It doesn’t mean it’s easier because of the quality of soul you’re going to get. Uh uh. It’s really the perception of what’s around you. That’s like saying, “I want to be a sunflower, but I’m going to go to a dark planet.” That’s fucked up because if you don’t have sun, you’re not going to grow. Your environment has influence on you. Ding. Next.
Me: Okay.
Erik: Or we can get deeper.
Me: Well, we can get deeper, but let me ask you: it seems like we had more matriarchal societies before, then it changed to patriarchal ones. What will it be like in the future?
Erik: Down with the men!
Jamie laughs.
Me: Aw, poor guys. We never give them a break. I know we’ll have pockets of both, but…
Stay tuned to find out what his answer is!
Here’s another smashing review of Erik’s book, My Life After Death.
Been on the consciousness expansion bandwagon for some years now, and have read many books related to this. I’ve never read a book quite like this one though, it stands out. I was genuinely excited to read it, and can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. It’s a very heart warming, and deeply personal account of a young man’s journey beyond our reality. There is so much wisdom here, and so much love, it’s down to earth, tangible and genuine. The work that Erik and his mother Elisa are doing is tremendous. Way to go Erik! The whole family should be very proud of this one!
