Well, I guess I’m a slow learner. Now that the compost is spread throughout my garden and part of the hardwood floors are refinished, I decided to dig up tons of bull rock that is on nearly every border of my landscaping, rinse the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of boulders off, and put them back. I do this because they’ve become pretty well buried in mud so that you can barely see them. However, I work in the heat for 20-30 minutes, come inside and cool off and drink for 20 minutes and go back out to work some more, so it’s doable.
