Ever the mechanically minded, Erik has branched out from kitchen appliances to plumbing fixtures. He hasn’t totally abandoned the kitchen downdraft vent, mind you, as it has continued to rise up out of the countertop at his command. In my last channeling session with him on the 18th of this month, he confessed to being the mastermind of this practical joke. The service technician is baffled and can offer no reasonable explanation, but I doubt he is up to any offers of a spiritual connection from the Other Side. I’ll just leave it as a play toy for Erik.

He’s been busying himself in other rooms as well. While one of my daughters was in my bathroom ravaging through my make up drawer several days ago, my husband’s sink faucet suddenly turned on. By itself. Michelle was at least three or four feet away. She knew immediately that it was Erik up to his old tricks again and admonished him in her usual tongue in cheek manner. They’ve always been close and loved teasing and playing with one another. I suppose some things never change, even after death. In that same channeling session through Kim O’Neill, Erik proudly admitted this remarkable feat, too. Obviously, his ability to manipulate energy on the earthly plane has improved dramatically. I’m glad he’s using his burgeoning skills to have a little fun and to remind us that he is and will always be around us. He’s becoming quite the handy man over there. Little prankster. 🙂
